The Whiskyopolis Exhibition

The exhibition panels showcased an extensive collection of photographs from the McGrory archives. Thoughtfully curated to bring to life the rich history of Campbeltown. Dubbed ‘Whiskyopolis’ by Glasgow journalists in the 19th century, Campbeltown was the epicentre of whisky production and trade, growing to become Scotland’s most prosperous town, at the time. The exhibition masterfully captured the diversity and vibrancy of life in Campbeltown, offering a fascinating glimpse into the town's past.

The information panels were displayed at the Campbeltown Heritage Centre.
