Design and Development

Food for Thought was interested in having a website for their new restaurant to help them build up their clientele and attract new customers. The site users stunning images of dishes created in the restaurant to help promote the restaurant and provide information along side them. It uses the Perch Runway content management system to run the backend of the website.

Whiskyopolis – An Exhibition of the Whisky Capital

Whiskyopolis was the term used by Glasgow journalist’s to refer to Campbeltown, the whisky capital, during the nineteenth century. This exhibition put on by the Heritage Centre, Campbeltown has been designed to tell the story of how all this happened. It is a view of the variety of life in the town that was once known as the richest one in Scotland over this period. The Heritage Centre commissioned Roberts Design to design ten information panels for the exhibition which took place during the summer of 2018.

Design

In creating the exhibition the Heritage Centre had access to the McGrory collection of photographs, which were used extensively in the show. The design of the panels was created around the collection and the text to produce information panels that would fit with the original panels that had been created by the Glasgow Art Club in 2016.

Stitch Exhibition Fabrics

Stitch Exhibition Fabrics; specialises in supplying and installing fabrics to the events and exhibition industries within the UK, including Olympia, Glastonbury Festival, NEC Birmingham and many outdoor activities. Stitch Exhibition Fabrics were interested in showing the work they do with the use of images, to see the examples shown at their best. The sections were broken down by event location and type of work including banners and signs, tunnels and entrances.

Design and Development

The solution for the site was to display the images as a showcase to show it’s work with clients in major exhibition venues and outdoor events in the UK. I used the Perch Runway CMS to handle all of the backend work, which works well on a medium size website.

Kintyre Amateur Swimming Club

The club wanted a website that would enable members and the public to gain access to results and information that the club bought out from swim meets and races. I used the Perch CMS to run the site.
