The Whiskyopolis exhibition, design and layout for the information boards were created around the McGrory collection of photographs used in this exhibition.
The Whisky Capital: Campbeltown
Whiskyopolis was the term used by Glasgow journalist’s to refer to Campbeltown, the whisky capital, during the nineteenth century. The Heritage Centre, Campbeltown put on the exhibition. The exhibition showed the variety of life in Campbeltown, which was known as the wealthiest town in Scotland during this period. The display’s information panels were designed and finished in the summer of 2018 when the exhibition took place.
