The Heritage Centre, Campbeltown, put on this exhibition. The exhibition showed the variety of life in Campbeltown, known as the wealthiest town in Scotland during this period. The Whiskyopolis exhibition information boards were created around the McGrory collection of photographs used in the exhibition. Whiskyopolis was the term Glasgow journalists used to refer to Campbeltown, the whisky capital, during the nineteenth century.
The display information panels were designed and finished and displayed in the Campbeltown Heritage Centre, where the exhibition took place.
